I answered I couldn't handle having all that responsibility on myself. She responded "Never underestimate yourself" for the rest of the year that stuck with me. I finally understand why it bothered me because she was right...
I launched Ma'Beauty September 21st, 2019 at the Annual Micheal Clayton Sickle Cell Walk. This walk was visual proof of how very short life with sickle cell disease can be. This motivated me even more to reach for a successful business.
Not just any successful business either one that will motivate other sickle cell patients. So that they know they can be/do anything they want. They shouldn't allow this disease to control their happiness because I refuse to allow it to control mine.
